On August 21, the Dnipropetrovsk Children’s Boarding House hosted a warm event \u2014 the Watermelon Picnic. <\/span><\/p>\n

More than 80 children and young people with disabilities currently live in the Dnipropetrovsk Children’s Boarding Home. They need special care and support, because they are constantly within the walls of the institution. So, together with the creative team of the Slobozhan Center of Cultural Services, we started the holiday with an entertainment program – children plunged into the world of fantasy and fun, playing with a big ball in the form of a delicious watermelon. Also, each child received balloons from Balloons Book Dnipro. Every touch to the balls was a touch to a child’s dream, to a wish that can come true.<\/span><\/p>\n

We haven’t forgotten about the goodies either – delicious watermelons, sweet water, as well as desserts from the YUM-YUM confectionery factory!<\/span><\/p>\n

Such events are not only a holiday, but also an important step in supporting the psycho-emotional state of children with disabilities. During the Watermelon Picnic, we teamed up with our partners to give children the opportunity to feel important, to experience the joy of communication and friendship.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are grateful to our partners and volunteers who participated in creating the holiday. Let these memories remain forever in the hearts of children, because every moment of their joy is a piece of happiness that can make our world a better place.<\/span><\/p>\n
