Stereotypes in women’s business, fashion trends, beauty, education in Europe and assistance to Ukrainian children during the war were discussed at the first international charity forum Mothers for Ukraine in Vienna.

What is the role of a woman? Be a mother or an entrepreneur, develop a charity or achieve career goals, take care of others or yourself. At the forum, everyone was convinced that women can do everything at once!

On May 27, Park Hyatt Vienna hospitably hosted speakers and guests from Ukraine, Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Great Britain and other countries. The general partner of the forum is TRAFIN Consulting und Entwicklungs GmbH/
The forum was organized by the charity fund of Ukraine “MOM plus ME”, which has been helping children in Ukraine for 16 years. One of the directions of the foundation, which is constantly taken care of by the founder Natalya Sivak, is the development of the culture of charity, education and fundraising.
“For over a year now, part of my mission has been to remind the world about Ukrainian children. About children who lost their childhood forever. Every time, in any country of the world, I remind the world about our children. It doesn’t matter if there is a microphone and a large audience, or if it’s just a private conversation…

So, it could not be otherwise. Today, the mission of our Forum is to help children who remain in Ukraine, children whose childhood was taken away by the war,” Natalya said during her speech.
As part of the charitable forum, speakers and guests discussed important topics that shape the worldview and a healthy society. The motivational speech of the British speaker Gina Gardiner inspired to leave the comfort zone and achieve goals.

Examples from the own experience of entrepreneurs Evgenia Dubinska, Olga Pogonysheva, Daria Didkovska and Maria Pertseva proved that women’s business is powerful and promising, there is no place for stereotypes and restrictions.

Thanks to the speakers Anna Harutyunova and Iva Neroli, the participants of the forum learned more about the latest fashion trends, the formation of style and their own way of building a fashion brand. Anna Arutyunova also shared how she managed to transform her love of dancing into a fashion brand.

The health of children and adults was discussed in a discussion panel with the participation of Ludmila Kilivnyk and Diana Steiner. The speakers revealed the importance of taking care of one’s own physical and mental health.

Yaryna Usach and Nicoletta Sivak talked about the prospects of education and career in Europe. The personal experience and current knowledge of the speakers became especially useful for those Ukrainians who are preparing to enter a European university.

The topic of goodness and mercy was revealed by speakers who devote a significant part of their time to charity and the development of a healthy society: Tetyana Rybchenko, Harriet Hala, Rimma Polonsky and Natalya Minosyan. These are women who helped evacuate children, held charity events and trainings, and supported Ukrainian refugees abroad.
However, charity was the leitmotif of the entire forum, because in every conversation, in every speech and video there were stories of Ukrainian children. A small charity auction was also held for these children, where they sold a painting by a young Ukrainian artist with autism, Maksym Brovchenko. A young artist with a disability, Amalia Horbenko, presented a t-shirt with an author’s print, which was also sold at the auction.

All funds collected during the forum, which is 11,000 euros, will be directed to targeted assistance and psycho-emotional rehabilitation of children in Ukraine.

Thanks to the forum, even more people and companies learned about the fund and the needs of children in Ukraine. Therefore, the foundation’s important mission was realized thanks to the openness of partners and benefactors to good deeds.

Such events prove that strength is always in unity and a sincere desire to make the world a better place.
The “MOM plus Me” charity foundation thanks all forum participants for their support and care for Ukrainian children.
