Supporting family-based forms of care: Tatyana’s foster family

We tell the story of Tetyana, who is the foster carer of 5 severely disabled orphans.

She had worked in an orphanage all her life, and after retirement she could not leave these children.

She has been taking care of them for 9 years on her own, looking after them and giving them love. Because her heart chose these children.

We travelled to Kryvyi Rih to get to know the family and an extremely strong woman.

We bought and delivered food (because the children cannot chew, they need formula), diapers, nappies, hygiene products and household chemicals.

They also gave Tatiana and each girl a little spring mood and congratulated them on the upcoming 8th of March 🌷

Because it is important to give love and care to everyone. Especially in such difficult times.
