The Tsintsadze foster family is raising 5 orphans, one of whom is a child with a disability. In their native village in Zaporizhzhia region, they had a large house and a small business, but on 27 February 2022, they lost everything when the occupiers entered their village.

The family took their children and documents and fled to Zaporizhzhia on foot. Only on 7 March did the family manage to escape the occupation.

People gave them shelter in another village in Zaporizhzhia region, away from the war zone. So now, after all the stress they have been through, they are building their lives anew. The family applied to us as part of a project to provide targeted support to children raised in foster care (from the application form we published earlier).

They needed a large freezer to store food for the children (because in the summer they can store berries, fruits and vegetables for the winter). Also, the children need tablets so that they can study online and develop.

Thanks to the support of philanthropists, we helped the family and bought a freezer and gadgets. Because these children have the right to a comfortable life and development, just like every Ukrainian child!
