Charity concerts of an Italian musical group, in which a Ukrainian woman from Dnipro performs

The Italian team together with the Ukrainian pianist decided to hold several concerts in March 2022 to raise funds for our wards.

Tatyana, a Ukrainian from the Dnipro who lives and works in Italy, could not stay away from the war in the Motherland. Tatiana contacted us in the first weeks of the war with words of support and an initiative to hold charity concerts, the proceeds of which will go to help the children of Ukraine!

Where did the funds go? The amount collected was aimed at targeted assistance to families with children who suffered in the first months of the full-scale war and were forced to leave their homes.

Charity exhibition of collages from Ukrainian collage artists in Spain

In May, on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, the Society of Ukrainian Collage Artists held a charity exhibition “PorLaPaz”, which means “For the sake of peace” in Spanish, the proceeds of which were donated to our Foundation.

The best Ukrainian collage artists joined the exhibition and presented their works.

Where did the funds go? The amount collected was aimed at the psycho-emotional support of orphans who were forced to leave their homes due to the full-scale war in Ukraine. In particular, 2 holidays were held in July 2022, which included an entertainment program, treats and gifts for the development and education of orphans of immigrants.

In the summer of 2022, actress Hanna Ostapenko and musician and actor Oleksandr Nevzorov organized a charity musical session in one of the restaurants in Turkey. The collected funds were transferred to the Foundation.

Ukrainian artists O’Leksa (Olga Shatalova), Sofannya (Sofia Popova), Kvartirant (Olexandr Nevzorov) joined the performance.

Where did the funds go? The collected amount was directed to the delivery of targeted aid to children who suffered from the war and are in various settlements of Ukraine.

Charity project “Brave Hedgehog” by Anna Mezhuieva

The philanthropist and ambassador of the “MOM plus ME” foundation, together with the publishing houses of ZORYA and KNYZHKA, created an artistic project – a children’s book about the Brave Hedgehog, the main character of which became a symbol of helping children.

Now it is both an imaginary friend and a favorite soft toy. Also, his story – the fairy tale “The Brave Hedgehog” is now collecting funds for the charity project “Returning childhood stolen by war to Ukrainian children”.

How does the project help children? The collected funds are directed to support talented Ukrainian children who suffered from the war in Ukraine: the purchase of creative kits and stationery for children of immigrants, children from large families and orphans. The project draws attention to the fund and develops children’s imagination.

An intercultural festival organized by the diaspora and aimed at supporting the foundation

“IN THE SUNLIGHT WE WRITE OUR LIVES…” is an intercultural festival that was held in early February 2023 and aimed to show the universality of traditions and values in an artistic and interactive form.

Organized by Feel Home EU vzw and Cloud Force One vzw with support from Hoboken District and Blikfabriek.

Where did the funds go? The collected amount was directed to projects of targeted assistance to families with children and targeted assistance to shelters and institutional facilities for orphans who needed basic conditions for comfort and balanced nutrition.

Mykolaychiky Charity Run by NGO “Start Dnipro” in support of the fund

The traditional Mykolaychiky Charity Run is organized every year by the “Start Dnipro” organization and Maryna Filatova. Participation in the race is paid, and all funds go to a good cause. For two years in a row, the race was held in support of the “MOM plus Me” foundation.

Even despite the war, in 2022 they held a race in the Dnipro.

Where did the funds go? The funds were directed to the purchase of gadgets for orphans raised in FTO and foster families.

Ardleigh Charity Fair at the Village Hall

Author and motivational speaker Gina Gardiner has organized an English-style gathering, sometimes held in English villages and towns, with a fair, tea party, raffle draws and friendly chat.

In addition, Gina Gardiner launched an additional online fundraiser for her 70th birthday.

Where did the funds go? The collected amount was aimed at supporting the psycho-emotional state of children who suffered from the full-scale war in Ukraine.
